Greetings fellow PCBA members—I hope everyone is enjoying the second half of the summer. Although we all still in the full swing of vacations and summer activities, August marks the beginning of the Bar Association’s new fiscal year. As with all new beginnings, it offers an opportunity for members to reflect on their involvement in the Association in the coming year. I invite all members to consider joining one of the many fantastic committees of the Bar Association. The work that our committees do is vital to the continued success of our Association. Whether you have been involved in the past or are a new member, now is the perfect time to get involved.
Beyond joining a committee, there are many events in the next few months that offer a chance to socialize and build relationships with our fellow members. The new Coffee with the Bar social hour has been a great success. It is on the second Friday of each month—the next date being August 8th at 8:00 a.m. at Intuition Coffee & Juice. For the runners in our Association, or for anyone that enjoys a beautiful late-summer walk on Grandview Drive, the Strides for Justice 5K is on Saturday, September 20th. And our annual PCBA Golf Outing is returning to Weaver Ridge this year on Friday, October 3rd. I hope to see you all at each event.
