Reflect upon your present blessings, of which every man has plenty; not on your past misfortunes, of which all men have some. —Charles Dickens
I am certainly grateful for blessings in life, even though it can be a struggle to balance professional and family obligations. The skit committee has been hard at work crafting entertainment for the Holiday Party that celebrates the old and the new. The committee has also selected a new venue this year, as well as a change to the entertainment. In order to continue to provide quality events, your PCBA needs good member attendance. Please set aside time to eat, drink and be merry on December 14 at The Waterhouse.
Also in the spirit of the season - if you volunteered to participate in the YLC Project Santa, be sure to drop your gift off at the PCBA office by Monday, December 11. We need nominees for the PCBA’s Distinguished Community Service Award – the deadline is January 5. There are so many of our members who serve the community in a variety of ways, please nominate one or more for this award. Finally, you may want to register now (before the hectic holidays) for the January CLE courses: Estate Planning/Probate on January 13, Family Law January 20, and Civil Practice January 27. I wish all our PCBA members and their families a happy and peaceful holiday season.
