Greetings PCBA members!
Another PCBA fiscal year is in the books and I’m looking forward to serving as President in this upcoming year. Thank you to all of you who came out to the annual meeting at the Peoria Riverfront Museum! It was a wonderful event and we thank John Morris and the PRM team for hosting us and providing an up close and personal look at the America 250 exhibit.
If you haven’t already, please consider joining one of the PCBA’s working committees, which do the behind the scenes work to bring you the events and provide the services that keep the PCBA running.
Speaking of events, we have great ones planned for this year! Coffee with the Bar is still in full swing, meeting on the second Friday of each month at 8:00am. This month’s meeting will be August 14th Ardor Breads & Provisions. Next up is Strides for Justice on Saturday, September 12th. Put a team together, bring your family, or come solo and enjoy a vigorous run (or a lovely stroll) through Peoria Heights to benefit Prairie State Legal Services. The PCBA has much to offer all its members and I look forward to seeing you at all our events and working with all of you in this upcoming year!
